The water on the far side of the levee is about 15 feet higher than the canal, everything overflowed except the embankment along the canal. // Steamboat No. 3 Champion. // Put in as many figures of lounging soldiers, officers, negroes etc standing along the levee (left hand side) and bank of canal as you want. // Negroes rafting boards. // Water canal."
